## Vitapur Water Dispenser Setup Guide
### Unpacking and Preparation
1. Carefully unpack the water dispenser and remove all packaging materials.
2. Place the dispenser on a flat, level surface near a power outlet.
3. Wash and sanitize the water reservoir using a mild detergent and warm water.
4. Rinse the reservoir thoroughly and let it air dry completely.
### Water Bottle Installation
1. For top-loading dispensers:
– Open the lid at the top of the dispenser.
– Lift the water bottle into the dispenser and align it with the guide rails.
– Gently push down on the bottle until it clicks into place.
2. For bottom-loading dispensers:
– Remove the bottom cover of the dispenser.
– Insert the water bottle upside down into the base of the dispenser.
– Align the bottle with the water inlet valve.
– Push the bottle up until it snaps into place.
### Electrical Connection
1. Locate the power cord at the back of the dispenser.
2. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
3. Turn on the power switch located on the back or side of the dispenser.
### Temperature Settings (for temperature-adjustable dispensers)
1. Some Vitapur dispensers allow you to adjust the temperature of the water.
2. To adjust the temperature, locate the temperature control panel on the dispenser.
3. Use the buttons or dials to select the desired water temperature.
4. The dispenser will take a few minutes to reach the desired temperature.
### Usage
1. To dispense cold water: Press the cold water button located on the front of the dispenser.
2. To dispense hot water (if applicable): Press the hot water button located on the front of the dispenser. Caution: Allow the hot water to run for a few seconds to clear any residual cold water.
3. To dispense room temperature water (if applicable): Press the room temperature button located on the front of the dispenser.
### Maintenance
1. Regular cleaning: Wipe down the exterior of the dispenser with a clean, damp cloth.
2. Periodic descaling: Remove mineral buildup from the dispenser using a descaling solution specifically designed for water dispensers.
3. Water filter replacement (if applicable): If your dispenser has a water filter, replace it according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
### Troubleshooting
Problem: Water is not dispensing.
Solution:
– Check if the dispenser is plugged in and turned on.
– Make sure the water bottle is properly installed.
– Ensure that the water level in the reservoir is adequate.
Problem: Cold water is not cold enough.
Solution:
– Adjust the temperature setting to a colder temperature.
– Check if the dispenser is located in a warm environment, which can affect the water temperature.
Problem: Hot water is not hot enough.
Solution:
– Adjust the temperature setting to a hotter temperature.
