### Step-by-Step Instructions
#### 1. Remove Existing Pipes (if necessary)
– Turn off the water supply valves under the sink.
– Use slip joint pliers to loosen the nuts connecting the supply lines and drain tailpiece to the sink.
– Remove the existing pipes from the sink.
#### 2. Connect P-trap to Drain Tailpiece
– Apply a bead of plumber’s putty around the rim of the drain tailpiece.
– Place the P-trap over the tailpiece and hand-tighten the slip nut.
– Use slip joint pliers to further tighten the slip nut.
#### 3. Install Sink Strainer
– Apply a bead of plumber’s putty around the rim of the sink strainer.
– Place the strainer over the drain hole in the sink and hand-tighten the nut.
– Use slip joint pliers to further tighten the nut.
#### 4. Connect Supply Lines to Faucet
– Wrap Teflon tape around the threads of the supply lines.
– Connect the supply lines to the cold and hot water inlets on the faucet.
– Hand-tighten the nuts connecting the supply lines to the faucet.
– Use a wrench to further tighten the nuts.
#### 5. Connect Drain Tailpiece to P-trap
– Wrap Teflon tape around the threads of the drain tailpiece.
– Connect the tailpiece to the P-trap and hand-tighten the slip nut.
– Use slip joint pliers to further tighten the slip nut.
#### 6. Test for Leaks
– Turn on the water supply valves.
– Check for leaks at all connections.
– If any leaks are detected, tighten the nuts or apply more plumber’s putty as needed.
#### 7. Secure Pipes (optional)
– To prevent movement, you can secure the pipes to the cabinet using pipe clamps or zip ties.
